High School Seniors Equipped with Skills for Success in Future Endeavors

The start of summer means sunshine, swimming and vacations, but it’s also the time when recently-graduated seniors start to plan for the next steps along their academic and career paths.

Thanks to all of their hard work and dedication, BSD’s graduating class of 2017 is poised for success. In particular, three students have shown just how important a solid academic and athletic foundation is as they look forward to the next step in their path to success.

HMS Students Participate in ‘Day of Caring’

Last month, Huston Middle School students gave a whole new meaning to spring cleaning. Together with teachers and staff, middle school students participated in a “Day of Caring” by cleaning and sprucing up the school grounds of Bon Air Elementary, Huston Middle School, and Burrell High School.

Opportunities Grow for BSD Students and Grads

While most look at the young people arriving at Burrell High School each day as students, Westmoreland County businesses see them a bit differently.
